heavy gas

Riding was short this week. Only 3 days, because I needed the trunk. Before I left it, I went for a fillup. It's the second time since I got the bike. At 120+ miles on the gauge, the mileage seems to hold up pretty well, though I haven't kept a close track of it as I have of the s2000. The extra weight indeed made a noticeable difference in control and balance as I was leaving the gas station. Not even 3 gallons, it was, but it surly felt heavy at low speed. The garage gates at work are not exactly bike friendly. Should it haven't been sticking to the balance principles, there could have been another fall or two. Can't imagine what if it was a passenger. Gonna have some time dealing with the weight before burning it up.
My brother and I had a long catchup. He's curious about what's like riding a bike. I told him as much as I know, from the MSF course in Toronto to the gears I still have in the house to dealing with traffic to the skills and gotchas on highway and local. After we hung up though, I thought long and hard, and I seriously don't think I want my own brother to be on a motorbike.
