bare skin

As summer's around the corner, I decided to shell out some money for new gloves. Granted, my current Alpinestars SP3 are still in excellent shape but I thought it would be a nice upgrade of a pair ventilated and more armored gloves for the summer. I try to avoid carbon fiber armor since it tends to shatter upon impact and the pieces could puncture the cowhide into the skin. The plastic knuckles seem a bit safer.

First I got the S1 gloves but the wrist guards didn't fit well with the jacket sleeves and too short that it exposed my skin if I stretched out. So I exchanged them for the GP Plus. Still Alpinestars but these have longer, more flexible wrist protection, similar to that of the SP3. In addition, these have the design of taping the pinky with the 4th finger, adding rigidity (And I use 2 fingers on the brake while we are on the topic. All 4 fingers are way too grabby). A bit more money though but as always, get the best and most comfortable gears you can afford.
